Chris Taylor / Grizzly Bear

“The R44 through the RPQ2 is one of my favorite chains lately. It sounds absolutely incredible on vocals, strings and horns alike. And that’s no exaggeration. They are open, even and clear yet really smooth and creamy on top. A fantastic pre if you want to be sure that what you’re recording will sit in the mix perfectly. Almost like the effect of recording to tape, it smooths frequency peaks and dynamics in a completely transparent way.”
